Jon is a highly experienced Facilitator and Business Coach with considerable experience in personal and team development , working with organisations in the UK and abroad. He has run Webb Development, a management development and consultancy business, for over 18 years. His operational management and company training management experience in the service sector enables him to provide a pragmatic approach to developing people to enhance their business and become leaders in their field.

He is Director of Awards for Excellence Limited. The company was formed in 2006 with two colleagues and specialises in implementing award schemes for organisations. The awards scheme is based on the very successful London Excellence Awards, which they designed and project manage. They have also launched a website, www.awardsfinder.com.

He has worked with a variety of sectors of business including Borough Councils, Contract Caterers, Facilities and Property Management companies, Health Retreats, Housing Associations, Hotels, International Oil and Petrochemical organisations, Pub and Leisure companies, Retail companies, Telecommunications, and Veterinary organisations.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, the Association for Management Education and Development, British Institute of Facilities Management, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce, a fellow member of the Institute of Hospitality, recognised Ambassador for London Excellence, accredited as an Investors in Excellence business, a certified training practitioner with the British Accreditation Bureau, and is a Myers Briggs Type Indicator licensed operator (psychometric profiling).

He is also an Advisor and Assessor for the Investors in Excellence standard, based on the European Foundation for Quality Management Business Excellence Model.

In January, 2006, he received the inaugural British Accreditation Bureau (BAB) Gold Award for the highest consistent Satisfaction Index Rating out of over 10,000 BAB registered Consultant Practitioners.

In September, 2004 he was finalist of the Customer Service Trainer of the Year at the National Customer Service Awards.

His interests include sailing - he is a member of the Tall Ships Youth Trust; a number of outdoor activities including running; playing the piano (purely for personal entertainment!). He is also a member of Leicester Tigers Rugby Club. He is married with two children and lives in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
